About me

About me

Celine Kenneybrew

Hey im Celine wife of Ethan and mother of two beautiful girls Miya and liya I’m a home cook from Paris who’s now successful in her Texas kitchen.

I was born in France from a big love story between a French woman my mum rose passionate about cooking and an American dad Eric . I grew up in a family that always cooked and rarely ate out . From a young age, I was fascinated by the aromas and flavors that emanated from my mother’s cooking .Each meal was a symphony of tastes, a precious legacy that she cherished.

My family moved from France to the United States when my father got an exciting job opportunity. This relocation allowed me to discover my father American origins, which I knew little about. Through travels across the country and meetings with extended family, I explored my family roots and developed a deep connection with my previously unfamiliar part of my identity.

At the age of 16, a tragic accident took my mother away. After the death of the beloved wife of my dad , he was deeply immersed in depression.  Devastated by this sudden loss,I turned to the handwritten recipe notes my mother had left behind. These precious documents became much more than culinary instructions for me: they were a tangible connection to my mother, a way to extend my legacy through cooking.

Inspired by the recipes my mother had left behind, I began preparing them regularly. Each dish reminded my father of the happy times spent with my mother. Gradually, through these shared meals, joyful memories started replacing sadness. Cooking became a powerful bond that helped my father overcome his grief, bringing a semblance of peace and joy back into our home.

A few years later, I moved to America, bringing with me the French flavors and techniques I had learned. Fascinated by cultural diversity and new ingredients, I began to experiment, blending the culinary traditions of my two backgrounds. My cuisine became an elegant fusion of French delicacy and American boldness.

To share my love of cooking with the world, I created a recipe website where I share my creations and personal interpretations of traditional dishes fresh and American .

Celine’s recipes website is not only a way to preserve my mother’s culinary legacy but also to create a new chapter in my own culinary story  to share recipes that are family-friendly budget-friendly and cook-friendly

Every day, we gather in the cozy family kitchen, blending familiar aromas with new creations, thus sharing an unbreakable bond across generations, united by a shared passion for cooking and memories of a beloved mother. This way my daughters will be able to taste their grandmother’s dishes

Today, I continue to inspire and delight taste buds with my unique creations, perpetuating the passion and love for cooking that were passed down to me by my mother, while embracing the influences and flavors of two cultures.
